Fact Check: Indian Channel News X uses old video to claim a recent incident in Kalat, Balochistan.

Indian news channel News X uses a four-year-old video to claim the recent incident in Kalat, Balochistan.  The news started with the claim that BLA rebels attacked Pakistani Security forces in Kalat on 1st October 2025 and resulting in the loss of a few soldiers' lives, including two SSG Commanders. Later, social media was flooded with the same video to prove this incident. Famous Indian X handle Baba Banaras also shared the same video to create more panic among people.

After verifying the claim and fact-checking the video, it reveals that the video is outdated and has been used many times before. The same video was posted on Reddit in 2021, claiming the incident reported near Ormara. In the video, it can be seen that the road sign indicates that Ormara is 59 km away from the incident location, and the distance between Ormara and Kalat is more than 700 km, which indicates the video is old and has been used to spread fake news.  Since then, numerous YouTubers and X handles have recycled this video with modified captions to suggest different events.

NewsX not only used this recycled video for the breaking news but also shared it on YouTube. While the X handle Baba Banaras uploads the same to prove different claims of BLA against Pakistani Security forces. A few days back, he used this recycled video to claim the events occurred in Gwadar.

No verified sources confirmed this incident, including ISPR and other prominent news channels and outlets, except Indian accounts, which show such news and old videos are being circulated just to create panic and chaos among the people of Balochistan
